“ The food is great. I love their bistec ala mexicano. It is the best. Staff is very friendly and service is perfect. ”
“ The food was really good and the service. While we ate at a table, lines of people came and went for folks ordering and picking up their food. Pretty popular place. I do think that the dining room could be updated somewhat though? ”
“ I never actually been here but my coworker said it was pretty good. Don't recommend showing pictures of the bean paste online. Coworker asked for receipt to see if what they paying for was correct, and they gave the receipt! Wowie!! ”
“ Order your food from a "wall sized" menu in the front area. The folks here will bring it out to you wherever you are sitting. The food was fast and good ”
“ I have not been since they left Racine. Was heading to Festival and past the restaurant on my way. Had my granddaughters we stopped and had lunch. Still just as good as I remember. The restaurant was very bright. Needed a little ambiance. ”
“ Taco dinner was amazing. I was able to mix hard/soft shell to my liking. The beans and rice are just as good. The homemade tortilla chips are a favorite of mine. I always leave full and satisfied. ”
“ Usually I get take out and it's delicious. Dining-in is not table service. Staff is thin, like everywhere, but friendly and accommodating. Now the food, soooo good! I love their enchiladas! I get a cheese and chicken combination, sauced and cheesed perfectly. The chicken is so tender and seasoned on point. Beans and rice are fresh and delicious. I'm a huge fan of the bean and sirloin burrito to go, with a large nacho, and taking them to the beer garden ( at Pets), though they have full complement of beers and Mexican drinks with fountain soda. If you want quick Mexican food, food is ready in 5-10 minutes, give them a call. Coming in, you wait in a queue of 1 or 2 people, so calling ahead is recommended. Closed Monday's. Try the hot Churros! Yum yum! Call ahead well in advance for carry out, they are always busy. They now have fresh churros and delicious margaritas...even to go. ”
“ Love that this place hasn't changed inside. It's the nostalgic feeling that everyone loves! I hope they never remodel! Seriously it's like the Mexican version of Yee's--the food is awesome and the atmosphere is even better. :) ”
